Lessons and Clinic Information
Private Lessons: I've been teaching privately for over 15 years, and have experience teaching privately through such institutions as Seattle Drum School of Music, Manhattan School of Music and the University of Washington. I teach trombone and piano lessons, as well as composition, arranging and general improvisation concepts. While I do have a set of rates for 45 minute and 60 minute lessons, I am very flexible with regards to individual needs. School or Festival Clinics: As an educator, I've also served as a clinician in a variety of environments, from Carnegie Hall and Benaroya Hall to Starbucks Corporate Headquarters and Harlem PS 185, as well as many jazz festivals and workshops in the United States and abroad. I am eager to serve as a clinician regarding any one of a number of subjects: big bands to small groups, issues around trombone performance, programming, job skills in the music world, composing and arranging, and many more.
